About Us
Born and raised in Hammonton New Jersey, Beth Tomasello is proud to be part of the ongoing glass tradition in Southern New Jersey. After graduating from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors degree in Graphic Arts, Beth spent 15 years in the printing industry before discovering glass in 1999. Since then, she has studied at Penland School of Crafts, The Studio at Corning Museum of Glass, and the Glass Center at Salem Community College (Salem, NJ). Her studies have been with an impressive list of glass artists including Paul Stankard, Dinah Hulet, Loren Stump, Suellen Fowler, Iwao Matsushima, and Lucartha Kohler. She has also functioned as a teaching assistant for Paul Stankard. Currently, Beth focuses her efforts on flameworked contemporary art glass marbles with vacuum-encased floral sculpture and murrine designs.
Beth is a member of the American Craft Council, the Glass Art Society, and the Delaware Valley Paperweight Collectors Association. Her work can be found in numerous private collections and galleries.
